This is a selection of projects I have designed in the last ten years. Assembling these images I remarked upon the diversity of the design challenges.
As a scenic artist I have realized numerous projects, both my own and the designs of others, for theatre, film, and the commercial market.
If I was asked to define the common characteristic of my work, I think it would be found in the quality of the environment. Much of my work traces a line through the found spaces that lay outside the paths most often travelled, where life is celebrated like a persistant stain.
My work has been seen on stages in Montreal, Ottawa, Toronto, Winnipeg, and Vancouver, and includes summer theatre I have done in the Eastern Townships and Kingston and work for the commercial market.
